Zifa Southern Region meets for JL Nkomo Super 8 Cup draw

THE John Landa Nkomo Liquor Hub Super 8 Cup draw will be the highlight of the Zifa Southern Region general meeting to be held tomorrow in Bulawayo. The delayed meeting which was supposed to be held in August will take place at Homestead Conference Centre along George Silundika Street. Musa Mandaza, the Zifa Southern head said the sponsor of the inaugural tournament, Raj Modi will conduct the draw after their meeting.The top eight teams at the halfway mark will go into the hat.

Four Bulawayo teams, table toppers Bantu Rovers, Bulawayo Chiefs, Black Boots and ZRP Bulawayo will compete with the same number of clubs from Matabeleland North Province, which are in the top eight.

The clubs from Matabeleland North that booked places in the John Landa Nkomo Liquor Hub Super 8 Cup are Amagagasi, ZPC Hwange, Technosphere and Victoria Falls Tigers.
